Stop Renting Power
and Start Owning
So many families feel helpless as energy costs continue to rise. At Community Power, we install home solar, backup power, and EV charging. This gives you the freedom to own your power, own your rates and get incentivized to do it!
Community of Happy Customers!
When we decided to go Solar I called all the usual suspects, Sun Run, Solar City, etc., and was totally dissatisfied with the impersonal and unimpressive response. Luckily I found Ben.
Andrew Shear
While dealing with Ben I felt very comfortable and did not feel pressured at all. The installation was extremely fast (4 hours!) and he stopped by to check on things after they were finished. The workmanship was great and the install was very clean.

Steps To Owning Your Power
1
DESIGN
PRE-DESIGN
Solar does not make sense for everyone. Every home has different electric usage and roof oreantation. We need to first make sure you understand the program and you qualify.
everyone.
Site Visit
Assuming you quilify we next need to make sure your home quilifies. This involves a site visit from our engineering team. They will check roof oreantation, azimuth, take roof measurements, climb in attic to check rafter spans, look behind electric panel faceplates, take photos and gather information we need for the next step.
Building plans
Now that we have the home data, we put together a blueprint of the design. This involes engineering drawings of roofing schematics, electrical line diagrams, mounting details, and equipment data. Once the design is approved, you give us the green light to submit paperwork for permits, we then get you on the schedule for install.
2
INSTALL
FINALIZE
Pre install
The homeowner play's an important role in making sure we have a smooth process. It’s a good idea to keep all vehicles in the garage or park them on the street. Limit the number of people coming in and out of the home while workers are on the roof, and don't worry they’ll communicate and ensure any of your concerns are met prior to insall.
Installation
Depending on the size of the system the actual installation may take just one day or two or three days, in which our team will properly prepare your roof, mount the standoffs and rails, integrate new wiring into your home’s existing system, and, finally, install your new solar panels.
3
inspection
After the system is installed. It needs to be approved by your local city or county inspector.
Net metering
Once inspection is passed we will submit everything to your utility company to enroll you in solar net metering.
Permission to opperate
After everything has been submitted to your utility company once approved they will grant you permission to operate. Congrats your system is offical!
